FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL MY ITEM(S) SHIP?

Most items in the shop (not made to order) ship within a week.

Talismans will also ship within a week. I wait to close all the jumprings until after the sale in case anyone wants the length changed. So, I adjust lengths and I weld all the rings after purchase. 

If you need it expedited I can do that too- just reach out!

All MTO (made to order) items are made and shipped within 6-8 weeks of being ordered, unless otherwise noted. We get lots of orders for MTO and sometimes there are supply issues that can slow production down a bit, but we do our best to get them out to you in that 6-8 week range.

A shipping confirmation will be emailed to you when your item ships.

 

ARE YOU ACCEPTING CUSTOM ORDERS?

I am not currently accepting custom orders. I do not have a waitlist. As much as I love making special, one of a kind pieces for my clients, we are a tiny operation and I simply can't accommodate everyone's requests. 

DO YOU USE RECYCLED/CONFLICT FREE MATERIALS?

Yes, as much as I possibly can. I purchase my silver from only reputable suppliers that purchase from secondary refiners (they don't mine but work with recycled metals). While they, as well, strive for transparency, there is still no way to tell how and where the original silver was mined.

I purchase almost all of my stones directly from the miners/miner's families, small family businesses and lapidary artists. I could source my stones much cheaper overseas, from larger companies. But there is a lot of shadiness in the gem and mineral world and lots of unethical practices that I do not wish to support in anyway. I choose to support other artists and individual people. Handmade, one of a kind pieces are always worth the extra investment to me as a buyer of materials and hopefully to you as well. 

Oh, and all of my packaging (excluding the flat rate boxes) is made from recycled materials, it contains zero plastics, and is 100% compostable and recyclable.

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

While I strive to only use the highest quality materials, how you care for your jewelry will greatly increase its longevity. Some stones, more than others, are more susceptible to breakage. Damage can occur to the stone is mishandled, or if suffers any trauma- is dropped, bumped, etc. Please remember to  remove your jewelry before bathing/showering, swimming, working with harsh soaps, lotions or any chemicals.

Direct sunlight or extreme temperatures can also cause damage to natural stones. Please be aware of this when storing your pieces. 

While I do all I can in the design and construction to make the stone as safe and secure as possible, proper care and respect on your end will ensure it will last.

Due to talismans shape/style please be extra careful with these. They are completely secure on their own, but mishandling/dropping could easily cause a break to the natural crystals/minerals used.

If your piece needs to be cleaned, I recommend using a mild soap (I use Dr Bronners) with a soft bristle toothbrush.


Sterling silver is a metal that will tarnish and react to its environment. Proper storage can help prevent this. Keeping your silver in an airtight container is best, as the air and humidity can really speed up tarnish. Wearing your pieces as much as possible will help keep them tarnish free- your skins natural oils actually help protect it from tarnish. Polishing occasionally will help remove any dullness or tarnish. Sunshine polishing cloths are really great to give your piece a quick polish- available for purchase in the shop!

I also off free polishing/ re-oxidizing (darkening) of any of my pieces free of charge! Just pay shipping to and from and I'll have your piece shining like new!

 

WHAT DOES "STACKER" MEAN?

I use the term STACKER frequently. This means that the piece is designed to be able to layer (or stack) with other pieces.

 

DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS?

Things happen. We do our best to make my jewelry as resilient as possible, but if, for some reason, a piece purchased from me needs repair or a stone replaced, I will do my best to work with you for a solution. Some repairs I cannot accommodate, such as sizing down rings or lengthening cuffs. Feel free to contact us for all inquiries! I normally don't do repairs on pieces not made by me.

 

DO YOU OFFER RESIZING?

Please refer to the SIZING section for info on resizing.

 

DO YOU SELL WHOLESALE?

Sorry, I do not sell wholesale at the moment... but am planning on soon!

 

DO YOU HOLD ITEMS?

I can hold an item for an agreed upon time only after the item has been listed for at least 24hrs.

 

I SAW SOMETHING I LIKE PREVIEWED ON INSTAGRAM, CAN I BUY THAT BEFORE IT IS LISTED HERE?

I do not sell through social media. I use these platforms to preview my work, but they can only be here on my site. I get lots of requests, but I insist on keeping things fair to everyone.

RETURNS

Refunds and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are dissatisfied or have any issue at all, please contact me as soon as possible and we can discuss the best option. I do not accept returns or exchanges based on wrong size- please know your ring size before ordering (check out the SIZING section above ) and read product descriptions carefully, but i am also more than happy to work through a solution. I only want satisfied customers and I want my pieces to be worn and loved!

Made to Order items are pre-orders. I cannot return/refund items until they are completed. 

Please remember that jewelry care is the responsibility of the buyer, please take care of your pieces as I cannot be responsible for mishandling.


PACKAGING/GIFTING

All my packages are shipped and packaged with care. I box my items with packaging that is great for gifting. If you are sending as a gift directly I will be more than happy to add a personalized notecard with the order and address everything directly to the recipient- just add those details in the notes or send me a message right away.

 

SHIPPING

I ship out all items as fast as i can- within one week  (MTO items require more time as stated in their listings). All US orders are shipped USPS Priority mail.

I will combine multiple orders into the same box. If you need separate boxes please let me know.

All orders will be shipped to the address listed on my orders. Please make sure that this address is correct prior to purchasing.

I cannot be held liable for incorrect shipping addresses. 

I purchase insurance through ShipSurance and all items are covered. It is important to take pictures of any items/packages that arrive damaged. Without photos claims wont be approved and I cannot eat that cost myself, so please document if there is an issue.

But please reach out to me regarding any shipping problems.

If you are not in the US, please know your country's import policies and customs fees, as you are responsible for paying these.
